Since not everybody here goes to Pelican, I thought I'd pass this thread about a car tilt device on...$998 including shipping? I'm tempted...

Paul,
I first saw this rig at the Frankfurt Auto show several years ago. Only to find out the company is based in New Hampshire! Right next door to me. I think there was also one demo'd at a Hershey event. They look kinda scarey, but seem to work fine.
Probably by now there are several differant companys making these. The differance between those and a rotisserie, is that the rotisserie attaches to the unibody itself. To use the other unit, the suspension system must still be in the car to attach to.
And please believe me, that if you don't do it right the car's doors will not align correctly, possibly sag and nothing will fit once you put it back on it's wheels!
The old frame jigs that attached to the suspension mounts were really great. Cellitte?
Too bad that the attaching hardware was so bloody expensive and was only good for fixing the particular car it was made for.
Amazing device. I'd love to hear from anyone who has actually used one. Fluids ???
My car already leaks when right side up :D !
