Anyone know the average volumetric efficiency of the 2.2L E and S motor?
Also has anyone messured the flow rate of stock 2.2L S heads (or any other heads that have the same valve sizes but perhaps larger ports in a later year)?

I attended a tech session where Jerry Woods stated that he spent a lot of time on a flow bench, only to come to the conclusion that it's hard to improve on the stock 911S heads...
Actually I am not trying to improve on the heads, but rather choose the right port size for my application.
The volumetric efficiency figure is more important for me right now. This way I can get a good idea of flow rates for various porsche motors (from the simple motor information say in the Anderson book), and choose the port size that has the closest tuning to what I am looking for flow rate wise at my calculated rpm torque peek.
I am assuming that the volumetric efficiency is probably around 80-85%, but it would be good to know some actual number for various porsche motors...
Sorry, on that, I don't have a clue. If I had to guess? Of all the Porsche early engines? Volumeric efficiency? I'd look at a 906 engine for clues...but that doesn't mean I have a clue.
