Worked out the bugs she is a runner
Excellent!!!!!!!!!!
Way cool. My '55 had a 272 Y-Block...
Nice... my brother's '52 had a 428 Cobra Jet
In the '60's on Van Nuys boulevard that was the pick-up of choice......
With NO weight in the back all you needed was a torquey motor and those things would smoke the tires for a city block...
One of the most effective I was ever in had the stock 3 speed in back of a 318 Plymouth..........
Here's a true story.....
Back then the nicest F-100 on the boulevard was owned by a guy named Bob... Us kids called him Bob 'Green' because his pick up was one of the beautiful '50's/60's Cadillac metallic 'firemist' greens. It was a tasteful mild custom with full Cad/tri-power/B&M hydro that hauled ass. There was a particular motor cop that had it in for Bob 'Green' and when he pulled him over for chirping the tires he also wrote him for over 20 equipment violations. Bob didn't pay the ticket or fix the equipment, instead he went to court on the 'exhibition of speed' violation. When the judge asked about all the equipment violations Bob produced no less then 5 magazines that the truck was featured in...
The judge dismissed the case............. And so it went on Van Nuys boulevard in the '60's ........ ;)
