It's too dark to see anything. Did I win?
At that hammer price it didn't seem to matter in the end, but I'm with Jim...too dark to determine precisely what was not done correctly. Love the $200K+ number for those of us who have like cars.
wrong (slam) panel. upper corners too sharp?
Red parcel shelf
Here's a "reference" for those who didn't read the photo title

if it is a SC everything is wrong but the slam panel and the lid catch(should be yellow)
Missing decals on slam panel?
Ding, ding, ding. :D
For this kind of money you'd think they'd at least "try". Reshaping one wouldn't be out of the question. A gent I met at the auction claimed the factory did the same thing to a car until enough "noise" was made that when he saw it again they had "fixed it". ;)
I liked Franz's reply the best.
And while we are in there:
It's a Solex car, right? So shouldn't it have the timing decal on the Schnorchel? Shouldn't there be a clamp on the hot air hose?
Where is the black paint around the grille openings? Should be visible on the edges.
Fan strap is gloss black, should be phosphate (like mine :))
