Because the super fine machining and fit in the injection pump can’t have any contamination.
I have found that the replacement filter elements are not doing their job. I recommend adding an additional filter somewhere.
That foreign material is getting thru. So it's just an expensive nothing at this point.
That's Typically what I do. I also add a small see thru filter in the engine bay between the filter console and the return line. It gives me an idea if I have a problem and is relatively safe as there is no pressure there.
Is Bosch still making these filters. I heard they were NLA, so I bought three in 1998 while they were still Bosch. What are they now?
