I am assembling the suspension on my SWB project and last night started reading about turbo tie rods on SWB cars.
I purchased the tie rods from a solid vendor along with some other parts but it wasn't Elephant who I understand has a longer turbo tie rod specific to the SWB cars.
If anyone has the measurements of the two different lengths please let me know.

Read that thread and that is partially what got me thinking about the tie rods that I purchased and if they will work on the SWB 911 but was actually looking for some dimensions. Chris Seven shared some info with me today that helped to understand swb vs lwb front suspension and how the turbo tie rods fit.

Maybe finish your front suspension assembly with the later A arms & spindles / struts and then measure how long the tie rods need to be? You could center the R&P Set the toe with a tape measure using a couple boards or straight edges across the outside of the tires and measure from the tie rod hole in the spindle back to the end of the threaded end at the rack side connection and compare that to the tie rods you have, and if you have 1.5 - 2 X the thread diameter of engagement into the threaded connection you are good to go.
Then post your results and list what A Arms & struts / spindles you used and this will be answered for the ages
