It was resprayed in the 90s, so those stickers were lost. I never bothered to get the reproductions, but I might after we're done as a finishing touch.

I just spoke to my parents, and it turns out my dad specifically asked the factory to swap in a sport seat on the driver's side but not the passenger. I might have to do the same when I order my 2023 GT3 Touring as a callback.
That was a standard option back then, but not often seen. You could order a pair of sport seats (Option M409) or a left side only (M410). Presumably a right side only was available in RHD markets.
Nice car as is, I'm totally in agreement on retaining the patina.
Agree with Arne on the single sport seat...not that uncommon. Great patina...try and keep as much as possible....you will be amazed how great things look, once you wash off all the years of grime.
If you post the VIN it will be helpful for you as folks on this board will have cars that were built just before or just after your was built...AND....will be helpful for us as your car is a one owner car so lots of originality From some of the photo's I would guess it was built in 1973 and not in 1972.
Super nice car....there are many folks on this board who will be extremely helpful as you embark on this journey
