Assistance/Ideas Please
Does anyone know of a service provider that collects items from one location and delivers it to another, in this case, a set of wheels from Modesto and delivered to Anaheim (over 5 hours each way). The Seller is not fond of shipping and will also only accept cash...If anyone lives in Modesto, happy to pay for your time to collect, pay and send to Anaheim. Scammers, don't bother to waste your time.;) Thanks everyone.

You could try something like www.uship.com which I believe is an online market for loads and is used by big and small shippers.
I’ve heard of them but never used them. The cost of freight in the US is absolutely bonkers right now, so there is that.
Btw, the term LTL means ‘Less than Load’ which means you are shiipong something that is less than a full tractor trailer load. This is what you want if shipping wheels. FTL means full truck load.
You could also try some of the enclosed car shippers...they are constantly up and down CA. I’ve used Plycar several times for vehicles. They would probably have room to throw a set of packaged rims in. I’ve seen parts being shipped on their trucks before.

Vintage sewing machines sellers use the Vintage Sewing Machine underground to help transport machines. There is a system of people willing to act as receivers and transporters all in an effort for the safe and (free) relocation of machines. Super convenient if there is no rush to get things transported in a quick fashion. I’ve taken various 912 parts to England packed in my carry-on. Maybe a Transport sticky?
