I'm restoring my 1967 911 coupe. The dash board trim is bushed aluminum and the dash color is black. I'm trying to find out if the finish was Gloss, Satin or Flat. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Don

Satin...all day.

OK...I use the SEM plastic products on plastic substrate, but prefer VHT Satin Black Epoxy (purple label) for metal. Tough, solvent resistant.
SEM Trim Black will do the trick, but I prefer the SEM Hot Rod Black kit. Same sheen, but it is catalyzed for much greater durability. Must be sprayed on of course.
My experience with black satin varies quite a bit manufacturer to manufacturer. I ended up sampling several before landing on the one that appears correct.
Thanks for all the suggestions. Really appreciate it.

Glasurit rallye black
Joris,
Do you have any pictures of the Glasurit Rallye Black on the car? I am interested in getting some and trying it out.
On my 1967 Prototype R build I used Vintage Flatz - their Hot Rod Satin Black for the steering column and wheel. Happy with the results.
