Oil pressure 1973.5 CIS 911 T 2.4

I have a 1973.5 CIS 911 T 2.4

Can anyone tell me what a proper oil pressure reading should be?

At idle I get a reading of about 15 and it never gets higher than 55/60. I’ve never paid attention to the pressure. I’ve always been more focused on the temperature. Thanks For your help.

Sounds about right. I'm sure someone will chime in with the exact numbers, but I seem to recall the spec is something like 10 psi per 1,000 rpm, until the pressure relief opens up.
