110-liter fuel tank protective plate

When my 73 911E was new, I had Stoddard install a plastic 110-liter racing fuel tank. I recently contacted a company (Zuffenhaus) because I saw that they make a plate to protect the bottom of 85-liter tanks and wondered if it would work with my 110-liter tank. They say a factory plate (I think the part number is 911.341.025.01) should work with my tank. Apparently, the 85-liter tank extends below the undercarriage thus requiring a special skid plate they make but the 110-liter tank doesn't and thus the factory plate should work as it does with a normal tank. Wondering if anyone has experience with this factory plate? Also, wondering how it is installed?

I know there is also a Rennline plate available. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with a front AC condenser. Wondering if the factory plate works with front AC condenser?
