firefighter case?

absurd to ask here I suppose but in case any expert or person who lived in Germany knows. When my father bought a damaged Porsche, he told me that inside the car there was a helmet, a helmet with a light that turned and if I remember correctly it also made some noise. My father thinks it would be something firefighter or similar and I was wondering if anyone would remember if something similar existed in the 70/80 era. My father says that this pot turned on only from time to time and he told me that it could have been one of the causes of the previous owner's accident.
