I was pointed to another product for cleaning up suspension and wheel wells. It is called "Roll-Off". The proper use would be to wet the area, spray on the product, let it sit for a few minutes, and then spray clean with a hose or power washer. Since I was in a shop on the lift, which gave great access, but alas not suitable to hose off I was left to just wipe down with rags. More detail work is still needed but a great first pass.
Now I've seemed to flip the car on its side.

Oil lines also got some attention. This was both mechanical with the help of Roll-Off, good stuff.

Wow. I need to go find a source for that stuff. Looks like it works really well.
It looks like West Marine carries it locally.

Many favorable reviews on Amazon too. May have to get some!

Well all the good had to be tempered with 42 years of reality. Or in other words rust! In the pass side rear seat pan, source of rust elixir thought to be sunroof drains, to be determined. The rust first exposed itself when a brake line tab came loose and the rust was just a spot (hope). After looking under the seat pad it was evident it was more extensive and after taking a wire brush to it it was just ugly. New seat pan indicated and planed.

Take it to Jamie, he'll pop a new one in in no time.:)

While I know Jamie is more than capable I think he has his focus on his own project at the moment.
-
Should be an easy fix compared to my project. Better identified now and taken care off.
Keep going Bob. Love the updates.

Agreed Jamie, better to find it now and deal with it.
