Look at what's currently parked next to my car. I sat in it. It's a interesting car.
Here's something for the person who isn't quite sure if they want a VW or a Porsche. A VW/Porsche thing.
wow ... that gives me a funny feeling in my head...
Great color on the SS. How did it come to be a garage mate, is it a friend's car? They are very sweet, ask the owner for a test drive!
Too bad the VW/911 creation is a photochop, looks pretty cool. That seating position, though...
Just 3 months ago I looked at a 1971 Datsun 240Z series 1 in Cupertino to satisfy my own curiosity about these early Datsuns. Much to my surprise & delight, the car is so well built as the 240Z was designed & built for the US Market by Nissan in 1969. Not knowing how these cars will be accepted in the US, the name Datsun was adopted by Nissan in case of catastrophic failure and the rest as they say is history. These cars together with the econo box 510 share an enduring rivalry with Porsche up to this day, in fact the vintage NISMO race parts are just as fun to chase & buy. Here are few pics of my JDM inspired Fairlady Z. How's that for a different experience?

I loved both of my Zs ('71 and '77) and truth be told, would love to have another. They are immensely tossable. Would love to experience an original Mini and recently sold my '10 MCS DD for a '12 STI (one of Rick's mentions). Still learning the ropes with her but, have to say I'm not missing the torque steer.
A next classic would be a hard choice for sure but, as others have mentioned a step nose Alfa would fit the bill! I prefer the Jr dash and instruments.... Turn one of those into a GT and I'd be all over it.
