Interesting video..........
looks good doesn't it ....
Video is interesting indeed. Two exterior elements stand out to me:
The side mirrors seem incredibly large and their placement seems awkward from a styling standpoint if you focus on it. Overall it seems to work though.
The P O R S C H E script in rear. That's the first time since 73, kinda cool.
Overall, not my thing but looks to fit the bill for 'the latest 911'. Familiar enough and different at the same time, which is what seems to happen with each generation of the car
I found myself nodding off when I saw the latest designs - it looks bloated although I have heard it is slightly lighter. I look forward to a time when someone...someone will go back to basics - light weight (no more than 2500 lbs.) with a direct driving feel on all inputs (steering, brakes, suspension, etc...) - free-revving engine...and little or no frills. Basics. Pure driving feel. If you think that a sumo wrestler weighs 500 lbs....and your car weighs say 3500 lbs. versus ours at 2500 lbs (or less)...thats like driving around with two sweaty sumo wrestlers in your car...all the time....accelerating, braking and trying to go around corners with all of that weight. Take a look at the weight of the current M3.....more like two and a half on the sumo scale. Its a fat crack.
Time for an upgraded daily driver......
I think I read somewhere that the North American debut will be at RRIV
