I can't compare the two, but I've got a Zuffenhaus puck and it's very nice.

Zuffenhaus puck is made like the originals, molded resin with integral color. Gellida's is machined alloy, then painted.

How does the horn pad compare with originals?

As in the embossed leather pad?? Neither uses the correct grain leather. Buy a good original or choose which one you like best in price/appearance.

Or buy a nice original, and the embossed leather from another vendor (do your homework, there are other embossed leather vendors).
