    Hi all,

I tried the search feature but couldn't find reference- where is the 30X XXX 3-digit matching VIN stamp to be found on the read deck lid please? I had a quick look with a torch too, to no avail.....

Looking for a pic or directions to the stamping location pls.

Think I remember reading that it is on the vertical support between the left and right grill openings. Viewed from the engine side.

    Hi
I have a 1966 rear deck lid that I couldn't find the number on; after rubbing down some of the several layers of paint (gently) I found the VIN stamp... due to the thickness of the original paint, the number was not so easy to see, but Bob is correct as to the location...

I think it is viewed from the grill side however, at least the ones I've seen are.
