WTB: Wood Aluminum Steering Wheel for 1965 911

Looking for a correct steering wheel for a 1965 911.
I believe it is the wood and aluminum steering wheel.

That or the 440m black one?

It helps to share your VIN in order to know whether you need an alu /wood or steel /wood wheel, but wood it is.

I have one with a decent batwing horn button. Same price range as Chris and Don's posts.

I'll throw another ring in the hat.
Unrestored and just as removed. Very similar to the one that sold last week but probably a bit better.

    Ciao

    Aluminum Wood Wheel

Here is one that needs the spokes re-done....Any comments as to the correct & available finish for the spokes appreciated....cliff
Wood appears to be original finish with one slight separation about an inch long and a 1/64 millimeter wide!

Coming out of the WOOD work.

Guess that's what happens when a part surpasses a particular price threshold.

If you look at the picture (my wheel) above yours, you will see what they looked like. The spokes are painted with a matte black finish. The wheel is varnished with little or no stain. I can send detailed pictures if you wish. My apologies to the original poster for hijacking this thread.
