German-made feel, conceived and built to do a specific task, pretty much evolved model to model from year 1 rather than redesigned, teutonic, offered with tartan trim (!) and developing a cult like following these days......
Bit like a 911, really.

More Austrian made than German if I'm correct, but certainly an interesting car anyway.
I would really like to own a 280 GE convertible.
Right you are of course, edited for correctness.... Thanks.

You are welcome.
I like some Austrian things:
- The G-Class. I will try to have one in the future.
- The Pinzgauer.
- My SSG 69
- The Porsche family
I have used a derivative of the G-Class, the Peugeot P4
Good, except the engine. That is why a convertible 280 GE would suit me well.
My favorite G, even if it is a LWB.

There is a strong connection with Porsche.
