I have posted pair for sale.....
Porsche 911 S 1971 Kremer race car
I also have posted a pair for sale. sounds like you have options. good luck.
PET shows the 72 911 used the later S caliper. PMB says both were used in 72. Either will fit. Check out the pictures, The differences are subtle. It is important to know if the pistons have corrosion and need to be replaced.

Here's what we're looking for gang,
Notice the angled nose section and the tabs (left side of the photo peeking out from the nose closest to the "A" in HYDRA-LIFT). Notice the circles forged into the top. We're looking for those two features:
Angled nose from the 908 forging with tabs.
Circles forged into the top.
These will be mid/late 1970 through late 1972.
Color doesn't matter however, most will be clear vs. what you see above. The "X" in the circle doesn't matter as we can replicate that (that came with a new piston design in 1971, they began preparing for it in 1970 by changing the mold). Pistons don't matter as almost "all" S-Caliper pistons are bad. Lines don't matter either. We have those.
Here's what will not work:
Late model calipers with the rounded nose (late 72 through 76+). Too late.
Early 1969 calipers without the circles forged into the top. Too early.
There's a ton of these out there so it shouldn't be too hard. It's just a stroke of misfortune that every offer has been either very early or too late a forging.
Thanks!

eric is always helpful.
Here is mine for my 5/72T that Eric recently restored. Still has the original pistons as Eric said they were in excellent condition for it's age.

Thanks Tom,
I tried to hook you up with a customer who had a mismatched pair. That would have been a good swap. How did that turn out?
