    Searching for history of 1972 911T 9112101940

    After reading Jim Johnston's article in the new Esses, I'm inspired to continue my search for the history of Daisy, my 72 T. I have the COA, which I will post when I get home from work, and know she was originally light ivory and spent time in Washington State, where she acquired a 2.7 rebuilt by Paul Weir (RIP), and was also in Maryland.
    Any knowledge, old photos, scans, etc. would be much appreciated. Thanks as always.

    Wow, that's the closest VIN to mine I've read about...do you still have the original engine? I've been looking for mine but I think it's a goner.

    The earliest paperwork I have for the car is dated from February 1977 and is a Maryland Certificate of Title for a Harold L. Ferguson in Cockeysville, MD. Do any of you Maryland people recognize the name at all? The car was most likely its original color back then, Light Ivory.

    My contacts were reluctant to give me engine and trans numbers on a 'free inquiry' basis, but since both are long gone, I wasn't too concerned. Mine was delivered in New York.

    Motor 6123XXX
    Getriebe 327XXX
    Farbe 8686=geminiblaumetallic
    Interieur 11=Kunstleder schwarz
    Händler UN=New York
    Rechnung April'72
    Extras E03 (enthält 559=Kälteanlage
    568=getönte Verglasung)und
    400=Leichtmetallfelgen 6x15
    453=Blaupunkt Frankfurt
    470=Comfort-Ausstattung
    650=Schiebedach

    Maybe some others in the same range will pop up. You never know.
