FS: 72-73 MFI Flapper Box: SOLD!!!

SOLD!! thank you all for your patience. re-contacted all responders and took offers in chronological order.

I'm selling an MFI flapper box, agreed to be correct for 72-73 cars. (Submitted the part/photos to the members for confirmation.) The part appears to be in good shape. I just washed it off with detergent and it cleaned right up. Springs/flappers operating properly with no hang-up.

Asking $170 (plus shipping), as suggested, but I'm always willing to be educated.

(Please note that I made an error in the original ad by failing to specifically mention shipping was extra. I have received 4 responses (on 2 forums) thus far and I will contact each to confess the mistake and provide them the opportunity to rescind their offers. I apologize to the community for my error, and I'm glad that the error can be corrected without damage to anyone.)

    Friends,

I made a mistake, which I am attempting to correct fairly. I have already responded personally to each of the 5 people who responded to my ad, with a sincere apology. I failed to clearly state that shipping was an additional cost. I have now amended the ad to make the situation clear.

Domestic shipping via large UPS flat rate box is $18 (plus, if you wish to add optional costs, at your discretion/expense), in addition to the $170 for the flapper box, making a total domestic cost of $188.

shipping to other nations would have to be figured on a case-by-case basis.

I apologize to the community at large for my error. I will do my best to make appropriate corrections.

    Friends,

It is never fun to make a mistake, and it is always necessary to make very effort to correct it. After correcting the ad and re-contacting each responder multiple times, the flapper box is not en route to a new owner. Thank you all for your patience, and I will try to make sure to be explicit next time.
