This 1965 Porsche 911 retired race car is awaiting restoration. Current values dictate that this car should be returned to its original configuration. Please study the pictures carefully. There is no motor, transmission, or title included in this sale. Having said that it must be noted that rust is NOT included either! You will find evidence of repairs from incidents at the track, but the car is true with all suspension points lining up to factory spec. The current finish is beautiful and the body is very straight.

As far as I can tell, the floor pans are original and in excellent condition except for a patch in the drivers front section.

It supprizes me that my COA for my 1966 911, VIN# 303201, shows it as a 1966 Model Year/Type. Yet this vehicle is 41 units after 303201, and it is a 1965 Model Year.....?????.....

These cars were not produced in VIN order sequence.

There is a massive thread on the transition from 1965 to 1966. Note the 1966 paint code, and the date of completion. This car is about 1200 cars into the 1966 model year.
