    FS: 68 aluminum 2.0 longblock $4500

    Price adjusted to $4000

    i have a 68 2.0 alu longblock for sale. I had bought it from a seller for whom this was not the matching engine for his car. It had been running and even tuned and had valves adjusted 6 months before it was pulled. Compression was good. That was in 2012 and the engine has just sat indoors in a reputable Seattle P-shop since. Advertising as longblock only. no induction or others.

    Engine was apparently rebuilt at some time prior to my purchase, there are signs of new gaskets, etc. case, valve covers, etc. appears to be original and unrestored. No carbs. >>>>

    Can you post some pix of the serial and build #'s please (in the build # thread would be fine). Other photo documentation would be good also.
    This is the highest build # I currently know of on an aluminum case. I'm sure that less than 40 more could be on an aluminum case.
