'R' stamping on back of '71 Fuchs

I posted this over on pelican but I thought I would ask the question to the experts here as well. I have a 3-71 date code 6x15 fuchs, with the normal part number 911.361.020.00. On the back petal there are some 'R' stampings around the '6x15' size stamping (a lone 'R' under the '6' and 'RR' below it, see attached photo). While I cannot be confident that these are factory stamps, they look to be so, and the lone 'R' stamp is beneath the '6' so unless the '6' was restamped later, it would seem to be factory. Has anyone seen these stampings before? If so do they have any associated meaning?

Could they be initials? I have a pair of wheels with WEIGEL stamped on the back, these being wheels the factory provided to Hans-Dieter WEIGEL for racing and which were then returned to the factory, however, there are an earlier pair of 7R's (dated 12/67 & 2/68).

Many wheels that come in have some sort of custom stamp that the owners put on.
That definitely does not look like Fuchs put it on IMHO.
Note: Right Rear is code in the wheel business for the worst wheel of the set......
A wheel marked "spare" is even worse.

....and there is me trying to remember racers with the initials RR.......sometimes you can just over think these things!
