    FS: Pierburg Fuel Pump (CIS)

This is a Pierburg fuel pump which I believe is original to the 2.7 CIS engine in my 1976. It was fully functional when I removed it (as part of my restoration, I am reverting to the Bosch pump that was intended for a 3.2). It has a part number of "7.21565.00" stamped on the body. It comes with the rubber housing, nuts/washers for terminals and the hollow bolt for the output (I may even be able to find the banjo that goes on this, if you are rebuilding your fuel lines).

Looks like Pelican sells this for $235 new, so how about $120 + shipping? Also available for collection in San Diego, CA.

    Photos available HERE.

Experts please comment...will this work in a 73.5 CIS?

Some parts book investigating should be done here. From my memory a 73.1/2 car would still have a Bosch pump mounted at the left rear torsion bar area, I believe the Pierburgs were for the later front mount pump locations.

73.5 was definitely a Bosch pump.

1973.5 pumps were in the back left. I just replaced mine.
