    FS: 1968 Autoflug / Repa Belts Autoflug retractors with Repa belts!

    Hello

    While cleaning up the garage I found what I think is a rare couple of belts.I don't know what car these came off? It might have been the parts pile I received from 300760. Belts are Dated 1968 Autoflug/Repa belts. Autoflug stamped retractors and Repa clips. Labels are missing. I did not relaize Autoflug made these and only after searching did I find a couple of references. It would be great if some experts could chime in on these. Looking to sell for SOLD obo for the pair.

    Got most of my info here, I guess they were only used in 69's and up

    Those belts would have come out of a 69 that was delivered in Europe. 68 cars (SWB) cars do not have provisions for those belts. Porsche made provisions for retractable seat belts in 69 and later cars. US cars did not get retractable belts until 72 YM cars and they were Repa not Autoflug. By the way, you are missing the receivers and all the bolts and brackets needed for installation in a LWB car which greatly affects the value and desirability of your belts.

    Thanks for the info good to know, yes on missing the receivers no on missing the brackets I'm pretty sure I have them.

    These retractable belts were an option from 69- (code M 418). I know of several US market cars that have them from new. In fact, I have an NOS pair with the factory boxes that I will be installing in my S when the resto is complete. They were a Repa/Autoflug combination with Repa latches and Autoflug retractors.

    Euro belts would have had the orange tracer threads in the webbing.

    Correct for a 69 and a very nice option to have. GLWS
