The best Porsches that were never actually Porsches

A good Audi RS2 is on the top of my list...

    Mercedes 500 E
    Audi RS2
    Porsche B32

    Interesting Story: http://driving.ca/porsche/auto-news/...ually-porsches

    What do you think?
    911 S 1967 and ...

The 500E is one of the best cars i've ever driven. I had a 500E in 1991, it was supposed to be my father's car but I was always at the wheel....great fun and fantastic driving experience .
Some years ago I bought a 1995 E500 Limited, a blauschwarz one with the rare green interior. Kept for some time as garage queen and then, unwisely, sold it.

A 500E is on my "want" list, to park next to the 300TE. I've got an old Brumos Porsche/Mercedes license frame that will be perfect for it.

My daily driver since 2006 has been a '94 E500. Great road car and solid as a vault. A great example can be had for $20-$30K which is a lot of car for the money.

A 500E is also on my wish list.
A few years ago, I have hesitated to bought an RS2 but choose an S4 Avant instead (B5 with the twin-turbo V6). The main reason was that it was nearly impossible to find a nice non-modified RS2

But the 928 powered G-wagon made for the Paris-Dakar should also be into that list
