SSS open end wrenches and the pliers would be more appropriate for 72/73. The rest of it appears correct for 69-71.

I believe Special Selected Steel wrenches are correct for the 1973 1/2 toolkit. Prior, Drop Forged Steel large font wrenches are appropriate.

The jack is from an earlier VW and will not work on a Porsche without putting serious divots in the side of the car. Please do not include it in your sale for fear someone would actually try and use it on their 911.

    Regards

Most 72's that I have seen have had SSS wrenches. I have photos of two low mileage original (one 1st owner, the other 2nd owner) 72 cars that have the SSS wrenches. Probably a grey area / transition period.

Someone find Harvey. I remember him mentioning that when he worked at a dealership in the early 70's that the salemen would throw the tool kits in a desk drawer and then sell them as an add-on. I doubt they were meticulous about matching things up.
