    Color Code 341 . .

    . . . aka Royal Purple . . .

    . . . aka Lilac

Just came across this color, again --- see post #39 . . .

In my life --- I've seen this color in the metal/on a real live car exactly twice

And I think that there are only 3 or 4 Lilac cars on our site

    Any more pics to share?

Rick, it's currently work in progress, but here is a RHD 73S that we are restoring, painted 341 Royal Purple in Glasurit paint. The colour is darker than the cars that you have shown, I can confirm that the colour matches areas of the car that were original and protected from the sun (under rear parcel shelf), maybe it's sensitive to sunlight and the pigment in the paint fades ...?

Looks fabulous in the Sun, but here in the UK, that's a rare occurrence

    Gorgeous, Phil

I seem to recall reading about a '73 S Targa --- RHD? . . . being restored in the UK, also. Have you heard of such a car? It may have been for sale, a year-or-so, ago

And what do people make of the color?
