    Remember b+b? . . .

    Came up in another thread --- see post #40 . . .
    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...893#post735893

Kind of an obscure tuner, now . . .
    http://www.1000sel.com/index.php/buchmann-b-b

. . . but Back in the Day, they were pretty famous/influential. R&T magazine used to feature there stuff all the time

    I think they were the first customizer to graft the 928's pop-up headlights onto the 911 --- late '70s? . . .

. . . then Porsche picked-up on it --- made it an option + called it 'flachbau'

And anybody remember b+b's 928 --- the one dressed like a Golf?

The Golf bodied 928 was produced by Artz, from Hannover. Sbarro has also made one.

B+B has produced Targa and Convertible 928's, but also a 930 Targa before the factory.

Here in the region is a B+B Turbo targa - with all the goodies (urgh) slantnose, a sound system that is soo 80s, the wild coulured seats and so on. No pics available.
I know a pair of b+b Seats, but the covers are too damaged to save them - so they're just Recaros.
And Yes the golf is from Artz
    Cheers

There is a 928 Targa B+B in France.
    Very 80's also

The 928 convertible was much nicer.

I saw the targa 930 in Interlaken in 2012, a real triumph of '80s excess!

I think the designers of the Honda Del Sol must have seen this 928!
