FS: Early 911 NOS Weber carbs

I have a set of N.O.S early 911 webber cabs that have never been mounted on a car. They are in perfect shape.

    Sticker shock?

Sticker shock? Really? I have now been told buy 3 different 911 Professional restoration guys that the price is fair for these being N.O.S. (being a 356 guy, I did my 911 home work before posting the ad.)
In fact, I challenge you to show me a cheaper pair in N.O.S condition. If you can, I will either beat their price, or I will buy their set. Keep in mind that N.O.S. means New Old Stock. Not rebuilt. Not a scratch , nor a screwdriver mark. Never a single bolt scrape mark on the base flanges. Still brand new. Not exactly a easy thing to find.
You will find plenty of carbs but far and few between of them will be a N.O.S set.

Well, how much is your car worth? I guess that would be a shock too?
    It is what it is.
Try the deluxe vw bus world sometime if you want another eye opener. THAT was shocking to me for a while. Then you just get used to it.
I remember when people were complaining that a $25000 speedster was shocking. Then double that. Then double that again. Now even that $100,000 seems like a reasonable price.
Get used to the shock. As long as you keep getting older it will never stop.
30 years ago, when I was in the Air Force and my grand father was still alive, I tried to get him to buy multiple Speedsters. He said it wouldnt be a good investment. He couldnt get past the shock either.
    I really wish he had.

No wonder you have these expensive carbs with all the dough you made making Pinks.
Lose the race; lose your ride!
