Elegant waterspiders. Is it any wonder the Lotus entries suffered from suspension failure. Is Stewart the only pilot left?

    Thumbs up

Is Stewart the only pilot left?
    Gratefully no.........

Just looking at the '67 German GP grid:
Gurney, Amon, Surtees, Oliver, Hobbs, Ahrens, Redman, Ickx, and hopefully a few more I'm not aware of are amazingly still with us... and most still going strong.

I believe that "only" eight of the 28 drivers entered in the 1967 German Grand Prix perished in racing-related incidents. Things were starting to look up in response to Clark's fatal accident the next year. Alan Rees, Guy Ligier, Kurt Ahrens, Brian Hart, and Hubert Hahne, are also still with us; Jack Brabham only recently passed, and Graham Hill and Denny Hulme died from causes other than racing incidents. Things are better today, for sure.
