    Temp Sender Sealing Washer

What is the correct material for the sealing washer for the temp sender, fibre, aluminum, or copper?
    Thanks

engine temp sender down by pulley was copper but Alu is ok. Thermo time switch in breather cover was originally fiber.

A 14 x 18 the "A" means Aluminum (or is that aluminium in YYZ?)

Aluminum it is, thanks all, aluminium across the pond. I meant the switch on the breather cover, so fabric it is, which I thought was correct, just wanted confirmation. Does anyone use a thread sealant on the switch such as Teflon tape before install?

Just thought about the sealant thing, if sealant was used wouldn't it add resistance to the ground path or totally isolate it?
