Thread: FS: Marelli Twin Plug Distributor

    FS: Marelli Twin Plug Distributor

I've decided to put my S121B Marelli distributor up for sale. This would be the correct distributor for a 2.8L RSR.

It turns clockwise, and it is the large-shaft version suitable for 2.4L and later engine cases.

Comes complete with used cap and rotor.

This Marelli distributor was rebuilt by Kurt at Partsklassik and is equipped with a Pertronix ignition (no more points). This work was done approximately 1 year ago. The distributor has been installed in my 2.5L and has done a year and half of POC racing and a few thousand miles of street work. It has performed flawlessly since it was installed.

I will also be including a PAIR of good, working Bosch 3-pin CDI boxes and twin plug wiring harness that were installed in my car. Coils not included.

    Sold

    Pictures available upon request.

I can be contacted here by PM and emailed directly at TLG_Porsche@yahoo.com

Some more restoration photos for you, and a link to a video of the car on the dyno (with the Marelli making it happen): https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=656012571106658

Very nice Marco! If I didn't have one, or two, I would buy it in a second. If you don't mind me asking, what was the cost of the resto?

Thanks, Armando. Let's just figure that the restoration cost the next owner $6750 + shipping.
