    here is a close up of the inside of the left(driver) side....
    you can see the plastic piece inside is worn thru...everything else is fine
    let me know if this still works for you...

    You can replace the plastic guts they are available separate.

    911quest is absolutely right (but i already have a set with rough innards). stephen acworth was interested, anyway. this is a good deal and i doubt that they'll last long. sorry to have caused trouble.

    If they available who's selling them maybe they'll have that special double ended rivet that makes these imposable to rebuild unless your a machinist.
