    FS: Solex carbs

CARBS ARE SOLD. THANK YOU EARLY S I have a pair of Solex carbs that belong to a friend of mine. I recently sold mine and he has decided he no longer needs his. Probably has something to do with what these sell for, just a guess.
Anyway, when he bought them, the seller told him that he had a '66 911 that had been recalled in 1967 to have the Solexes replaced with Webers. He had stored these carbs on his shelf since '67 and long since sold off the car. He had forgotten about the carbs. They are a good, clean set. I gave them a spray of light oil to keep them from rusting, so if they look a bit shiny, that's why. The only issue is that one of the horns has a slightly bent lip. You can see it in the picture. It can probably be bent back, but I'm not going to try it. You can see it in the 4th photo, on the right side. Asking $4,500, + shipping from Washington State. paypal accepted

Yes, that's what there is. Open to offers of course. Bores are clean as can be seen in the last photo, everything is functioning as it should.
