FS: Leistritz Muffler, 2 in, 1 out, dated 11/75

Leistritz Muffler, just bead blasted and painted with VHT Flat SP104.

Appears to be stainless, but I just couldn't tell, so coated it 3X with VHT.

VGC, with one slight push in dent on back side where part number is. Part # 4210739 manufacture date 11/75

First $775 takes it shipped to CONUS address via UPS groundexh 3.jpgexh 4.jpgexh5.jpgexhaust 2.jpgleistrietx Exhaust 1.jpg

    Thumbs up

I moved this thread over to here, because it's post '73....

    However.....

This is the muffler I have on my '73... Got it years ago from Roger Grago

'74 - '76 are identical to our Early mufflers except the exit pipe.

What I did was cut off an old exit pipe off an old unrepairable 'early' muffler, mounted the later muffler with it's lower 'bent' exit (to clear the impact bumper) and drove over to a good hot rod muffler shop. Had the muffler guy cut the 'new' exit pipe off in place, handed him my cut off early exit pipe, and had him weld it on in just the right orientation. And there you have it.....

Or....... if you have a '74 -'76 911, here's your muffler with nothing to do but smile.........

    Good luck with the sale.......

Hey --- as long as it works? . . . not a Huge Deal --- but I went through this about a year ago, myself. The earlier-style Leistritz does fit/look better --- to my eyes. Not a lot of room/clearance, back there, either . . . and everything's on display

Did leave off the tip, though. Chrome = one more bit to clean
