So I just got my ducktail back from a complete restoration and it's been quite the task to get it just right with the gaps. Seems like the fit is not as perfect as the standard decklid is. Width-wise seems to be *just* a bit shorter than the standard decklid (a bit of tapering towards the bottom edge as well)- is this the case for ducktails? It also doesn't seem to fit as flush as a standard lid height-wise…curious if this is the norm or the result of the restoration process of fitting fiberglass back to the steel frame and maybe losing something along the way. The tail was not on the car when I purchased it so I have no basis for comparison. Any experiences/observations would be appreciated.

Thanks!
