Transportation from SF/Bay Area to Miami, FL? Open to share after any of the events..

Need to find transport for my 69' 911 from the Bay Area to Miami, FL - any good and reasonable recommendations?

I would also be open to share the truck to reduce costs after one of the events, either the PCA this week or in August after Monterey Car Week. Any leads will be greatly appreciated!

You need to be very very careful. You need to make sure it's insured. Your car that is. Always contact the insurance broker and ask to see the policy. Never trust the trucking company on this one. They usually only carry liability insurance. You need cargo insurance. Here's an article I wrote last year on this. It's the wild west out there.

For reference I'm doing the exact opposite trip (FL (Tampa)->CA) next week via intercity for $1900 and change. Maybe if you book them now, the truck will arrive in FL sooner ;-) I've had good luck with them and "reliable" both. Top outfits.

PS: I realize that's not peanuts, but a barebones transporter (uncovered, with multiple car transfers - more risk) is $1200+. I like my odds better than way.
