Almost identical in spec to my 911T, would have loved to checked it out in person since it's in my locale but wouldn't you know it I'm in Scotland this week doh!

My buddy had a look, car really exists and is pretty much as described but I'm not brave enough to buy sight unseen!

    note rust is visible.

    Mike,

I'm back visiting Aberdeen with the family this week.

I'm over frequently normally 5 or 6 times a year.

What part of Scotland are you in?

I'm in the very South West. I wondered if you had a connection with Deeside with your user name.
If you are back weekend of August 22-25 it will be the DDK Scottish Highland Tour. Should be 40 or so early cars based at Loch Tay enjoying some Scottish hospitality and wonderful scenery.

    Mike,

Cheers for the heads up, I'm not around that weekend but I must tell one of my colleagues (Iain R) about it who is in Scotland, he has two early 911's.

    Hi Michael

That's interesting. Tell Ian to get in touch if he is interested in coming. One of our days out may well be towards his area from our base camp. Even if he can't make the whole weekend maybe he could squeeze in lunch with us somewhere. The itinery is not fully finalized but I could keep him posted on the routes/days.
