Best car carrier for 2 cars coast to coast??

Retiring (YES) and moving from Seattle to Virginia in a few months. Need to move two small nice cars (911S and Alfa)and don't want to put them in the moving van as I did last time. Need good reasonable enclosed carrier point to point preferred.

Good day I have used Pilot transport out of Michigan and was very pleased with the price and service. I have recommended them to friends who have been pleased as well. Contact is cpostma@unitedroad.com. I believe Charlie Postma is in charge of shipments. Good luck and enjoy your retirement.

Intercity and Reliable, both... Intercity is a bit cheaper. But sometimes they make you wait, and wait, till a truck is full enough to go. You will get online quotes, I'm guessing in the $2000 vicinity.

There are a lot of very good carriers. Try several.

I use Angels. Become familiar with this website before making your final decision. Intercity and Reliable are very good but not cheap.

    My Inspiration

    '86 44 Turbo, black/red,7's and 8's fuchs, autothority - sold (rocketship)
'97 Boxster, first delivered in DC Metro, silver/red -sold (huge mistake to buy this one)
'99 C2, silver/black, RoW M030, limited lip, short shift - sold (good ride, but...)

    '69 912, 3.2 with all the trimmings
    (finally got air cooled)
