    FS: 1965 Porsche 911

Since this is the best way to post the very early 911's for sale ...

    Porsche 911 (1st registration on 4 december 1965) with VIN 302915:
    - matching numbers - I have the Kardex
    - black with red leather interior (car was original irish green)
    - all 1965 details are correct (4-screw horn grill, round engine lid button, wooden dash, wooden steering wheel, correct door side panels, correct back seats, etc...)
    - runs, drives, brakes and shifts great
    - runs on Webers but I have Solexes and original air filter if you want

I know these cars very quite well and I like originality.
Car is equipped to do historic car rally (regularity) and is quite fast.

This car is in Belgium, Europe and is registered here with Belgian license plates.
Open to offers but realise this is a high quality and extreme original 1965 911.
    See pics.

    Looking for 180.000 euro.

    PM me for more questions.

    Gr,
    Michael

The car listed here is a MY66 but built in '65. Some people choose to market these cars as '65 cars due to the recent run-up in prices for MY65 cars.

    Here we go again.

My sense is Matthijs is from Europe where clearly the year of manufacture determines how to designate the cars year, and they cannot understand the self-created fuss here in the US. Not to mention his Kardex (and C of A if he had one), both provided by Porsche, would indicate 1965.

I'm sure he meant nothing by it and my sense is with so few posts he is probably unaware how sensitive some people are about the distinction between a pre August '65 and a post August '65 production date.

    GLWS Matthijs. Pretty color combo.
