    Mid-70's 911s are the sleepers. In Cailfornia, the MY 74-75 are smog exempted, so one can rebuild the engine to ROW specs.

    Beautiful, all original, rust free, numbers matching, dates matching, California 911 Targa. Same owner since the car was 6 months old. Garaged since new. Top only off a handful of times according to prior owner and it looks it, amazing condition. Interior is also remarkable, original and clean. Carpets have been shelved by the prior owner and are just now in the car for the first time since early 75, like new. Laser straight, rust free body with perfect seams is accident free and has 1 repaint in it's original and rare special order Salmon Metallic, paint code # 036.

    Wow, probably worth it compared to this '74 Targa for sale on eBay resprayed in 're-sale red'.

    That guy's been running the red car auction repeatedly for a couple months. Closed last week at $29k but looks like the deal didn't happen.
