FS: 67-68S interior j mold interior trim

10-15-15 SOLD OUT No more material available, thanks guys for all your support.

9-7-15 I will only have enough material left for a few odds and ends pieces, not enough for a complete set

UPDATE 9 -5-15 Only 3 sets left and based on the lack of demand there will not be another run.

UPDATE 8-17-15 My fabricator found a spot for me in his production schedule and I currently have 8 sets available, $275 plus paypal fees and shipping costs. I think this will be the last run for a while.

Update 6-20-15 FINALLY, the order has arrived. I will contact the folks on the waiting list in the order of interest expressed. See post #34 for photos. Thanks for hanging in.

Update 3-25-15 I received the corrected samples yesterday and they look great. I have placed the order based on those who previously expressed interest. Please let me know if you have changed your mind or need additional sets as I have ordered a few extra sets.

Update 2-20-15 Received the samples and they have been rejected. There is a barely perceptible "chatter" on the surfaces, ie very very small ridges. The die will have to be repolished and new samples sent for approval. Sorry for the delay but what's the point if they are not PERFECT

Update 2-4-15, samples have been produced by the new fabricator for approval. I should have them in hand shortly. Once approved it will be roughly 4 weeks for fabrication ( vs typical 10-12 weeks) Assuming all goes well I should be ready to take orders next week.

Update on the third round of production 1-24-15[/B] I have finally found another fabricator who has committed to the proper packaging of the j-mold once produced so they do not get damaged in shipping. Each piece will be individually wrapped. He is currently working on a new die and should be sending samples for approval within a couple weeks. I have taken names of those who expressed interest and will confirm when production is imminent. Sorry for the long delay.

The second (and final) batch of trim has been completed and I now have it in hand. Please see first post to get the details (http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...m-strip-J-mold) I have contacted all those who expressed interest but were not able to purchase on the first run. The price for enough material to do an interior is $275 plus paypal fees and shipping. Please contact me at skippadover@sbcglobal.net if interested as my pm box is almost full. It really helps if you provide your S Registry handle/avatar name as well in the e-mail.
    Thanks

How do you handle the rear trim that needs to be bent? Chris

Im working on making the bend but it still needs some fine tuning (not so easy). Im hoping to be able to offer the "bending service" in a month or so. Currently the material offered is straight pieces as described in the first post.

    Unhappy

All packed up and ready to ship. All available material is spoken for, ( I had to reject over a third of the material as it wasnt packaged properly and was damaged in shipping ) The anodizer is usually pretty good at expediting corrective work when they screw up so I might have the 10-11 replacement sets available in a few weeks as opposed to a few months.
