How to connect wires to the oil level sender in the tank '67)

Green/white and Brown. Sender and ground. Where do wires attach? There is a 'side' lug, a 'center' lug, and the mounting screws. Thx

You're workin' my memory Brian...The green/white wire should attach to the side lug. The brown wire (ground) should attach to the nearest to the front mounting screw. The center post is to attach the metal cover, which you're probably missing (most cars are missing this item). The cover has a slot in it where the wires need to exit through, so the direction the connectors face is important so the wires don't have to bind when guiding them thru the slot in the cover.

I concur with the above, and there should also be a rubber grommet that goes over the harness that fits in the slot in the cover to keep dirt out of there.
