Sold: 2.4T motor - complete less induction $2250

    **Sold**

I bought this about 10 years ago for a 914-6 conversion but ended up going with a 2.2E motor. It was represented to be a running motor when I bought it but I didn't see it run. Turns freely (I turn have been turning it a little every month or so for all this time). Mileage unknown but it looks pretty low (intakes look clean and MFI butterflies were very tight when removed). It seems to have had an oil leak in the "triangle of doom area".

I figured it would probably bring more $ parted out but I thought I would see if there was any interest in the complete motor before starting the tear-down.

If you are interested, I can take more/better pics and do a cold leakdown (for whatever that's worth). I don't have a convenient way to spin it for a compression test.

Please let me know if this becomes available again for any reason. I'm in Austin, so somewhat local.
