    Another Corduroy sport seat question

So I was finally able to run down all the spare parts for my recently acquired 73 S targa and it came with a set of beautiful cord insert sport seats. I've never seen this fabric before, is this a factory material?

    Thanks,

    Phil

Wow Phil very nice. The corduroy on these seats looks original to me. The cord looks to be in very nice condition.

Seats were stored for 30 years, let's just say I got damn lucky as owner did not know seats were anything special. Here is a close up of fabric.

I'd say so Phil. What other spare parts did you get - perhaps the original working radio and pristine tool kit?
Congrats those original Sport Seats will look great in your Dalmation Blue beauty.

No tool kit or original radio, GB delivered car so I'm not sure what correct radio is, may plan is to remove radio. Came with decent door pockets, so I'll have Tony redo those while he is going through interior.

Wow amazing find. I have tan leatherette sport seats on my Dalmatian blue '73 E but they were re-done in leather (by Tony) as requested by the previous owner. I have been searching for something original in tan leatherette like yours forever and gave up long time ago. Yours looks fantastic. Enjoy.

congratulations on an amazing piece of luck. Not only does that look correct - the corduroy was the most common upholstery on euro delivered cars. I'm pretty sure it wasn't available US but maybe on a special order.
