    An end to independence!

    Car and engine, that is.
With all the help I've received from this forum, I thought I'd post this here.

Brian, great looking car. Is that a black coil with the correct green decal? If so where did you get it?

Looking good! It appears to be not too far away from an unveiling at a certain Junk Yard in Emeryville on a 1st Saturday of a upcoming month.
    Nice work, my friend!

    Regards

Looks lovely. Having driven from SF to San Simeon on Hwy 1 and then up to Napa via Oakland and then over to Sonoma and Pt. Reyes and Hwy1 back to SF in a Mini Cooper over the past week, I'm insanely jealous of the curvey roads you guys have to play on with your 911s.

Wasn't quite as impressed with Emeryville, but a 2 hour traffic jam will do that to you...

Thanks. I bought the Bosch coil on ebay, painted the top "bakelite brown", and got the green decal from this sight.
