    FS: 73T Tangerine Targa

Seldom does a buyer have the opportunity to purchase the best of the best, the finest of the marque, and the nicest example of any one particular model. These cars don't come around very often and when they do one has to seize the opportunity.

This 1973 Targa is the antithesis of one of those cars.

Red-headed-stepchild, basket case, derelict, and esthetically challenged would better describe this car. If you want a reason to begin divorce proceedings, have this dropped in your driveway. (Not available to rent.)
73 T Targa, matching # engine in pieces, MFI, 5 speed, 6 X 15 Fuchs, black vinyl interior (no sport seats), no fun options, and incredibly undesirable fiberglass Targa top. The good news is that it's an AZ car and has no rust (at all!), no crash damage, and it's original color is 018. (Currently Earl Scheib Brilliant Red.)

Sympathetic restoration candidate. As long as you have sympathy for your body guy, your painter, your mechanic, your powder coater, your local plating co, Tony or Augustine, Harvey, Gus, etc, etc.
Priced at a sensible $23k OBO. But wait, there's more! Pics only available with a deposit. (Don't you love this current market; 6 years ago I would have had to include 80 photos and the promise of a healthy kidney to land a buyer.)

Thanks for considering this fantastic car. Feel free to ask questions, post hateful comments, or lay odds on when this thread will be closed or deleted.

Would you take 22K? Oh that's right, OBO stands for a higher offer than listed...If it only had a V8...
